Teen Mission Trip Date: Early July 2010
This summer you can be part of a life changing opportunity. IBC Teen Ministries is taking a trip to Quito, Ecuador to serve alongside missionaries Geoff and Tammy Kooistra at HCJB Global. HCJB is a radio ministry which broadcasts to almost the entire world the Gospel. In Quito HCJB is also involved in medical missions and educational outreach programs. Pan de Vida is a Gospel focused ministry to serve the poor in Quito. We are going to build a brick wall with them to help us remove walls with the local people to share the Gospel. Team members will gain valuable experience as they see how engineering expertise, computer skills, medical training, and teaching ability are all being used to call people to turn from their sin and trust Christ alone for salvation. The preparation for this trip will require time and effort on your part, and our time in Ecuador will not be a vacation. You are encouraged to apply if you are ready to work hard and serve others. You will personally grow in your relationship with God as you better understand His Word and His world. You also have the chance to make a difference in the lives of others! Don’t waste your life on living to please yourself! Jim Elliot arrived in Ecuador in 1952, he served as a missionary and gave his life in 1956 to see the Gospel spread to Ecuadorians. His famous quote should stir your soul “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose.” Email Contact

Small Group Trips Are you interested in seeing missions work in a very up-close, personal and realistic way? Are you considering full time missions work and want to see what missionaries really do? Do you want to be part of selecting and planning your own trip? Consider this… IBC offers a non-traditional “Mission Trip” experience for groups of 1-4 people. Your part in the trip: Pray about who you will serve with and where you will go. What IBC will do: Help identify a location and missionary to serve with. This service is available to all IBC members and those attend regularly.
