Precept Bible Studies

To establish people in God’s Word through inductive Bible study.  Inductive study is the tool we use to collect Biblical precepts (principles) to build a God-glorifying, Bible-centered worldview with clear applications to live the abundant, victorious life in Christ.

Precept Bible studies are for anyone who wants to to discover God's Truth for him/herself by going deeper into God's Word through daily study.  The studies are geared for adults, but mature children have taken studies with the help of an adult.  Classes are open to women at 8:45-11:00 a.m. and to men and women (separate classes) at 6:45-9:00 p.m. on Thursdays at IBC. In-depth inductive study has an easy-to-follow daily format with approximately 5 hours of personal study time during the week. The first hour of class is spent in a guided discussion based on what was learned through personal study the previous week.  After a short break, we watch a companion lecture DVD from Precept Ministries.
