Fall Semester Adult Electives

September 3 – November 26, 2023

9:00-10:00 AM

Marriage

Teachers: Chris Menard and Rob Love (One Journey Center)

Marriage is the foundation for family and society and God has much to say about its definition and purpose. You will encounter a Biblical theology of marriage and explore topics such as duty, conflict, communication, sexuality, children, money, and divorce.

New Testament Part 1

Teacher: Josh Sturm (Room 200)

New Testament Part 1 covers roughly one-half of the New Testament. You will be exposed to the big picture of each book, trace the continuity between books, understand the promises God has kept to His people from the Old Testament, and hear God speak through His Word.

Systematic Theology Part 1

Teacher: Will Zalizniak (Fireside Room)

Systematic Theology Part 1 attempts to systematically present what the Apostle Paul called “the whole counsel of God” (Acts 20:27). This is the first of two semesters, progressing through roughly the first half of a systematic theology, including the doctrines of Scripture, the Trinity, God’s sovereignty, election, creation, sin, Christology and soteriology. Our hope is that this seminar provokes you to magnify the worth of God in a more meaningful and personal way.
