Transformative Friendships (7 Weeks: Sept. 6 – Oct. 18)

We all want meaningful friendships but actually having them is not always as easy as we wish it were. In this class, we’ll walk through seven simple questions that will help us evaluate our current friendships and develop substantive, transformative relationships so the community of saints at IBC can more fully enjoy the grace God offers through one another.
Teacher: Will Zalizniak (Room 217)

An Exploration of the Covenant Heart of God: 12 Studies that Transform (13 Weeks)

Two Ways to Live / How to Study Your Bible (13 Weeks)

“Two Ways to Live” seeks to unpack, understand, and articulate the Gospel message.  We will spend one week looking at each point of the Two Ways to Live tract.  Basically, this class is designed for two purposes. 1) to help solidify the content of the gospel in our own minds and 2) so that we might go out and share it with others (1 Peter 3:15).
Teacher: Chris Menard (Room 200)

“How to Study Your Bible” is an introduction to the inductive Bible study method. This method consists of careful observation of the text leading to sound interpretation and appropriate application. We will articulate the three principles of sound interpretation relating to historical, contextual, and literary interpretations. By learning and practicing these principles, you will be more equipped to rightly understand and apply God’s Word.  (Room 200)

Membership Matters (6 Weeks: Oct. 25 – Nov. 29)

Membership Matters is designed for newcomers to learn more about what IBC believes and prepares them for the membership path.
Teacher: Rob Love (Room 217 upper level)
